St Agnes campsite is one of the most beautiful locations in Scilly and a great place to stay for the World Pilot Gig Championships. On the campsite you will be among other rowers and enthusiasts, enjoying the action and having a relaxing holiday in a unique setting. Why not stay on for a few days and explore the islands?

St Agnes has a fantastic pub - the Turks Head - a great place to meet, eat, drink, celebrate, commiserate and rest aching muscles after a day on the water. Boats run frequently between the islands, connecting you with all the action on St Marys.

Many rowers first come to us for gig weekend because St Marys is full, but they come back to us year after year because they love the St Agnes experience.

The rates for gig weekend are the standard camping rates.

Your hosts Laura & Sam are also gig rowers, and you might see us in the St Agnes gig "Shah" (1872). We look forward to seeing you on the start line.

We start taking bookings in October for the following year. For Gig Weekend we require the full booking fee in advance to secure the booking.

We welcome group / club / crew or individual bookings. Children, dogs and non-rowers are also welcome.

Please note that there is an extensive boat service between St Marys and St Agnes during the gig weekend for rowers and spectators to ensure you don't miss any action. There are late evening boats returning to St Agnes at around 9:30pm on the Sunday evening. This doesn't mean that the fun stops there... you will find the Turks Head pub on St Agnes is a great place to end your Gig weekend!

We also offer self-catering accomodation and rent fully equiped bell tents, both of which can be booked up to one year in advance.
