You can travel to the Islands by ferry or small plane. It is not possible for visitors to bring cars to the Isles of Scilly. Please note that it is not usually possibe to travel to Scilly or between the islands on Sundays.
Ferry: You can travel to the Islands aboard the Scillonian Ferry from Penzance, which docks at the quay on St Mary's. The sea voyage makes an excellent start to visiting Scilly, with a tour of the beautiful Cornish coast and Lands End on the way out. If you have a lot of camping gear or canoes etc, it is the best option. Once you have put your luggage into the correct container on the quay in Penzance, you won't have to handle it again until it is here at Troytown. Please ensure you label every bag with the yellow St Agnes labels provided by the ferry company.
