Bell Tent Rental

For a totally carefree camping holiday, where you can travel light and be inside your tent and have the kettle boiling within minutes of arriving on the farm, the campsite has a few 4 meter diameter canvas bell tents for hire on the site. The tents are provided pre-erected and equipped for up to 4 people, allowing you to enjoy every minute of your holiday. The tents are in a fantastic location on the site with great panoramic views.

What is included?

• High quality, comfortable, pre-inflated airbeds (double and/or singles as required)
• Picnic bench & BBQ outside your tent
• Comfortable camping chairs
• Camping cooker, pots & pans, kettle & utensils
• China crockery and proper cutlery
• Cool box with free ice pack service
• Camping lantern and decorative lighting
• Camping gas for the cooker
• Use of the campsite facilities
• Buckets, spades, shrimping net & crabbing lines to keep the kids (or young at heart) busy…

When you arrive on St Agnes, we will meet you at the quay on St Agnes to transport your luggage to the site, and take it down to the boat for you when you leave. For a detailed list see the FAQs page.

What isn't included?

• Bedding and towels are not included - please bring sleeping bags and pillows (or similar).
• Torches. It is worth bringing your own as there are no streetlights here.
• Shower tokens (60p each)
• Charcoal for your BBQ - you can get some from the farm shop
• Four brick walls, a slate roof, insulation, double glazing etc... i.e. you are still camping! If you are not keen on the elements then perhaps self-catering is more your style.

Please note that these tents have one 4m diameter round living area. The height at the peak is 2.5m. The tents are very spacious for a couple or two singles, beds for four people covers just over half of the living space. This photo shows the layout with all beds in use for 4 people.

For larger groups we may be able to rent two tents or possibly add a small second tent next to a bell tent. Please enquire for details and availability. We do not accept dogs in the bell tents.

We are seeing a huge demand for this new service so please book early. We take bookings up to one year in advance. Rentals are for full weeks. During low season or if we have late availability we may offer shorter breaks. See below for rates and availability.

Rates are per tent per week unless otherwise stated . Changeover days vary but are normally Saturday or Thursday). Rates include return transport of luggage from the quay, camping gas, pre-erected tent hire and hire of all camping equipment as specified above. The bell tents can sleep up to 4 people. We can provide an extra small tent and airbed for an extra person at a cost of £80 per week (subject to availability).

Terms and Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable at the time of booking. The balance is payable during your stay. Please inform us of cancellations as early as you can. Bookings cancelled within 8 weeks of the arrival date will be liable for full payment.
